And I also have to say this now that I’ve had the chance to experience Zensphere V2 myself: **this synthesizer is simply divine.** I am genuinely amazed by its sound. There is such a beautiful warmth, depth and character to it that it truly feels like I am listening to real hardware rather than just another software instrument.
That warm, analog-like hardware character is exactly what I had been searching for for so many years. The sound feels alive, rich and incredibly musical. Every time I play it, I just want to keep playing and creating.
So once again, thank you — not only for your incredible generosity, but also for creating such a beautiful instrument. Zensphere V2 is truly something special. ❤️🙏
Putting Zensphere 2 to the test. The creator asked for a honest look, so I built a video that gets straight to the point: letting the sound do the talking.
In Part 1, I dive into an Ableton session, loading up an Arp. Synths and a Pad using Zensphere 2.
You can immediately hear how those multi-sampled analog layers and new processing options translate into a live arrangement.
In Part 2, I switch over to a direct A/B comparison against the official release version. No over-explaining needed, just listen closely to how the warmth, texture, and mix-ready nature hold up. Check out the video to hear the difference for yourself.
I am always looking for the sounds that make a Track different and memorable, and putting it in genre's they have not been used in before to see what I can come up with... This Vsti is unique and user friendly ...A must for any in the box producer that can't afford the hardware tools.
I already had the first version of Zensphere, and frankly it was already excellent for what I intend to do in my music, but this second version is out of this world! Just the fact that we can raise the modulator wheel is a huge plus, but when we start exploring the filters and reverb, we quickly realize it's much more than just a VST. And together with the DNA Suite, everything becomes easier, more intuitive, and sounds amazing.
Zensphere V2 is an incredibly creative tool and an absolute must-have for any producer who values authentic analog textures. The absolute core feature of the Zensphere V2 is its incomparable sound character. It brings the punch and premium warmth of a dream analog studio straight to your computer, all within a fast, modern workflow.
The sounds are perfectly "mix-ready" right out of the box—they cut through the arrangement immediately, without the need for hours of tweaking with EQ and compression.
The visual appearance and interface design (available in either light or dark mode) also deserve high praise. Zensphere V2 is pleasantly uncluttered and by no means overloaded.
This masterpiece comes highly recommended and earns a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars!
What a Masterpiece!!!!
Zensphere completely exceeded my expectations. The sound has that genuine analog depth and warmth it promises — presets are mix-ready right out of the box, no extra processing needed. What's most impressive is how light it is on CPU relative to the quality it delivers. Definitely worth the price, top-notch work from Rapid Flow.
Everything is perfect. The only issue was that Zensphere V2 could not gain permission to access the default library location so I had to install the presets in my Mac's documents folder amd it worked.
One of the best virtual synths I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Instant inspiration out of the box. Fat, raw, and rich! Highly recommended! Thanks Rapidflow team!
Love the sounds and love the interface. Providing both dark and light interface is very thoughtful of you. With my poor eyesight, I avoid most dark modes (light grey font on black background? What are they thinking?) but Zensphere is a pleasant change. Love the dark mode - absolutely no strain on my eyes. Thank you for that.
My only wish is if it also came as a standalone app for Mac, Windows, and tablets. That way I can play with all day long on my iPad without firing up my DAW first.
Thanks again and all the best to you.

Great addition to the tool box.
I have already used Zensphere V2 on two pieces.
I drop Zensphere into a midi track, and within seconds I have a viable sound enhancement in the mix.
Will be using Zensphere a lot.
Great Work, Rapid Flow Team!

In v1, the modulation wheel controlled volume, but in v2, this was changed to sidechain control. Personally, I don't care for that assignment, as the modulation wheel is traditionally used for vibrato. Since sidechaining can be handled by a compressor, I don't feel it's necessary to have it built into the synth itself. In terms of sound quality, it certainly has an analog feel—good enough to use in a final mix without issues—and the experience feels just like using a real hardware analog synth when integrated with other synths.
Can’t get the cc midi learns working. On the latest version which is a little bit of an issue, but it beats version 1 as that kept crashing and had the no sound bug.
What a beautiful gem I discovered. Sound quality is amazing. UI is easy to master and helps sculpture and fine-tine your sounds. Zensphere promises a lot, but delivers even more!

What is new in Zensphere V2 compared to V1?
Zensphere V2 introduces a completely rebuilt Convolution Reverb Engine with 12 premium impulse responses, a custom-drawable Mod-Wheel Sidechain Engine, and an added Mono Legato mode with dedicated Glide Time controls. The entire interface has also been modernized with a sleek, fully resizable architecture available in both Light and Dark modes.
Are the notes individually sampled or pitch-shifted?
Every note is individually captured. Zensphere contains over 25,000 recorded samples, eliminating the artifacts and tonal inconsistencies often found in pitch-stretched instruments.
Are the notes individually sampled or pitch-shifted?
Every note is individually captured. Zensphere contains over 25,000 recorded samples, eliminating the artifacts and tonal inconsistencies often found in pitch-stretched instruments.
How does the Mod-Wheel Sidechain Engine work?
Simply raise your mod wheel to introduce sidechain-style movement. You can sync it to your project tempo, retrigger it per note, and even draw custom sidechain curves for unique rhythmic effects.
What does Zensphere do?
Zensphere Is a sample based next generation VST instrument. It is low on CPU and offers very high quality pre-mixed sounds that you can adapt to your track fast.
What is the Convolution Reverb Engine?
Zensphere V2 features 12 high-quality impulse response spaces ranging from subtle ambiences to massive atmospheric reverbs, with additional chorus modulation for organic movement.
How does Zensphere sound?
All the presets in Zensphere were captured from actual hardware synths, then fine-tuned through quality outboard processing, and tracked using Prism Audio converters. The result is that every sound works in a mix straight away - no additional processing required. Plus, the patches genuinely sound fantastic.
Why was Zensphere created?
Honestly, after decades in the studio, we realized that hardware synths processed with 19" outboard gear and recorded with high-grade converters just makes everything faster. You stop fighting with sounds and start making music.
It seemed wrong that this should be so expensive. We made Zensphere so more people could work this way.
What equipment do I need to use Zensphere?
You only need your DAW and a computer :)
What can I use Zensphere for?
Zensphere provides basses, leads, pads, arps, plucks, chords and acoustic sounds. You can build full tracks just using Zensphere and adding drums.
Can I use Zensphere live on stage?
Yes, Zensphere runs as a normal low latency VST instrument with low CPU impact on laptops.
How does Zensphere CPU usage compare to other synth plugins?
Zensphere's CPU usage is extremely LOW. One instance of Zensphere on a Macbook Pro with M1 chip uses between 5-6% CPU.
How much storage space does Zensphere need?
The sample library folder requires 10 GB of storage space and can be located anywhere on your system.
How fast do Zensphere presets load?
Load times from an SSD drive are under 1 second
