Die meisten Produzenten kennen dieses Gefühl. Man beginnt mit einer großartigen Idee, der Groove fühlt sich richtig an, und der Track erwacht zum Leben. Doch sobald man mit dem Abmischen beginnt, bricht der kreative Flow oft ab.

I followed my intuition and put it on black buy purchasing the DNA suite and an AKAI APC40mk2. At first I thought what have I done, it was overwhelming, I have a lot of Ableton experience but in arrangement mode. After a few nights the penny started to drop and the shear power of this system begun to make sense. By Friday (purchased Monday) I was able to live jam and arrangement and record and edit the timing and automation plus add parts after the bulk was done. All I can say is wow, thank you for sharing your knowledge and being generous too

I already had the Infinity Bundle and I was having a lot of fun experimenting with new sounds, however something told me it was time for something more and the path would inevitably lead to the DNA Suite. It turned out to be far beyond what I could have expected. It's not at all beginner-friendly, but it has excellent support. From Erik's videos explaining how to map the MIDI controllers and what each one does, to José's patience (the brains behind Omniclock). Now I just focus on letting my imagination run wild and then having fun experimenting a thousand ways to play all the elements until they become a whole. I find myself spending hours playing with little more than a kick, bass and lead because the rest flows naturally. This is a method I wasn't at all familiar with, but it quickly became part of the process.
At first I thought why buy this plugin but then I decided to look further and look at these Templates and due to the fact it was on sale I decided to purchase it and I must say that the team did a good job creating this Template, I even got it to work with the APC-64! I recently came into a little bit of money so I lashed out and bought your DNA Suite and Zensphere. Wow! Zensphere has the most *massive* sound! The DNA Suite is utterly gobsmacking (but trying to use it on my 13-inch MacBook Pro is almost hilariously difficult because DNA Suite is a gigantic canvas. It goes better on my 21-inch iMac screen.
However, what is helping me is that I discovered Knobbler4:

This gives me a comprehensive control surface for every part of the DNA Suite—on my iPad! Don’t have to hunch over and squint at tiny controls! :)
Knobbler works for me because I can’t afford all the hardware controllers you use, while Knobbler4 is about $19 USD. Do check it out!
I do like the custom macros for everything, and that you have FX and mastering chains for everything. That’s amazing! I’ve seen a lot of other pro-level Ableton templates, but there is nothing like this, that sounds as good as this! :)
I hope at some point you and your team adapt the Suite for other DAWs. I found out about you via your Bitwig V3 template, which is a beautiful thing. I’d love to see the DNA Suite Bitwig Edition one of these days! :)
I am still in the phase where I am adjusting the set for my use. I use a lot of midi instruments and will implement a live looping feel to the live set. I am not quite done yet, and I am still fixing some stuff.
Learning how to use the more advanced DNA master chain, and also the DNA sample project. I think using templates inside Ableton Live, and learning how to set them up and always start a new project from a user template is a very valuable workflow tip. It doesn't make sense to start a new Ableton Live session from the raw blank empty project. There is still a lot I need to learn, but I am glad I have all these resources like the DNA template and other sample projects to experiment & learn from.
Really really good template. Even though I am only getting into a clip based approach as I’m not performing but merely playing/composing in a normal linear way, I find the concept brilliant.
my experience with ableton has been a learning curve with YouTube videos and hopeful that I’d get better at producing which happened gradually with some good results..
DNA suite is an amazing example of what’s possible in ableton with results that are ground breaking…
I should say that’s it’s been proven with tracks of my own which are still not perfect but hay there are sounding like they have been made by an sound engineer
